This is less than fun for the musically illiterate so have it your way;) Here are my big fat guesses for the day. P#1: Summer in the City by The Lovin' Spoonful P#2: Every Subway Car by Barenaked Ladies P#3: Walk the Line by Johnny Cash P#4: Hello! Rock Boyz by London
Musically illiterate my arse! You got #1 and #3 correct, plus extra credit because your guess for #2 is not only a song I didn't know, but it's much more appropriate for the picture than the one I'd intended ("C'mon N Ride It (The Train)" by Quad City DJ's). That just leaves #4 up for guessing.
Haha! The Stone Temple Pilots! You give me way more credit for cleverness than I deserve. Alas, that's not the one I was thinking of. Think...less clever, more obvious. ;)

I really like that subway/train picture.
I'm the illiterate one. I'd only have gotten number 3.
Is 4 "I Am a Rock (I Am an Island)?"
Ding, ding, ding! Nice job, Nancy :)
